Bikaner Camel Festival Guide (बीकानेर ऊंट उत्सव गाइड)
The Bikaner Camel Festival is one of the most colorful and unique cultural festivals in Rajasthan, organized by the Department of Tourism every January. Held at the foot of Junagarh Fort and surrounding grounds, this two-day festival celebrates the 'Ship of the Desert' through a dazzling array of events including camel races, best-dressed camel competitions, camel acrobatics, camel milking contests, camel hair shearing, and camel fur design competitions. The festival also features folk music and dance performances by Manganiyar and Langa musicians, turban-tying competitions, fire dances, and a grand procession of decorated camels through the city. History
