Bhandasar Jain Temple (भांडासर जैन मंदिर)

Bhandasar Jain Temple is a stunning 15th-century Jain temple and one of the finest examples of Jain architecture in Rajasthan. Dedicated to the 5th Tirthankara, Sumatinath, the temple is famous for its three-storey structure adorned with beautiful frescoes, gold leaf paintings, mirror work, and intricate marble carvings. Legend holds that 40,000 kg of ghee was used in the construction mortar instead of water, and on hot days ghee is said to seep from the walls. The temple's pillared hall, ornate ceiling, and colorful paintings depicting Jain mythology make it an architectural masterpiece that rivals the famous Dilwara Temples of Mount Abu.
